Smooth Sales was set up in 2017 to provide on tap experience for Private Equity owned businesses seeking to drive EBITDA. Since then I have consistently delivered outstanding, measurable results in Sales Transformation programs across different industries including SaaS, Data, Technology Infrastructure and Corporate Real Estate.
Having led GTM motions for businesses ranging from £50m to £17bn, I understand the unique pressures of the PE lifecycle. I don’t just offer advice; I take accountability for the execution of the VCP, ensuring that the sales culture evolves alongside the valuation.
History:
After 25 years of working in sales I had worked with the guidance of some tremendous leaders along with some memorably awful one's, across small fast growing companies and billion dollar multi nationals taking me from call centres to board room negotiations. Through all this experience, I archived a vast amount of sales knowledge and built a cloud drive of coaching tools which I continue to add to.
About 15 years ago, I met an interim Sales leader for hire and was taken by the idea of having real impact in a variety of businesses, instead of repeating the same sales year. When the opportunity arose to start the business I focused on Private Equity contacts and quickly found a niche.
Ideally located with easy access to London, Heathrow & Gatwick and with a proven ability to quickly get up to speed for outcome based contracts from a few months to several years, I typically work with Operating Partners, Investors or owners around the SaaS, Data or technology spaces.
Able to work outside IR35 on a contractor day rate, or on a PAYE fixed term or interim basis.
